Designed for the Society of Hope, the largest non-profit housing provider in the Interior of British Columbia, this public-private partnership will provide 72 new rental units for seniors over the age of 55 years.  The building includes  a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom units, in addition to four units designed for wheel chair accessibility.  Slated to open in winter of 2011, the apartment building will be the first buiding following new regulations under the BC Building code to allow for 6 storey wood frame construction.  The first floor of the building is entirely devoted to amenity space, including a six lane bowling alley, games room, library and community kitchen.
